Membership & Benefits 2011-12

There is a choice of several membership categories available to join Badminton Wales. If you would like to join as an individual member in any of the categories below rather than via a club please contact Rob Short (Rob.Short@badmintonwales.net). 

FULL MEMBERSHIP

Senior Individual - £10                                  

Junior Individual - £6

 

This category is designed for ALL members who play badminton within a club setting whether in a competitive league or not. By joining via a club as a full member you can receive:

*        Competitive players / club able to compete in all sanctioned events.

*        Personal Accident and optional Public Liability (£20) insurance package 

*        E-mail newsletter 

 

 

As a member of an affiliated club you could also benefit from the following should your club wish to apply for:

 

*        Community Chest Funding Support (funding towards development – not guaranteed)

*        Web Space for Club Information

*        Allocation of tickets to Welsh International / Welsh Nationals

*        Club Accreditation Programme

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP

 

Social Club (Senior only) - £6 per person or £75 per social club

                                   

This category is for clubs, societies and organisations who wish to be direct members of Badminton Wales, but who do not wish to play competitively as an individual or club in any competitions.

This category is designed for those who wish to be involved as a member of Badminton Wales as a non playing supporter.

SCHOOL MEMBERSHIP

 

This category is for Primary or Secondary schools who wish to access Badminton Wales  benefits and also wish to take part in the Badminton Wales Top Schools and individual junior events.

 

School - £20

 

  • Access to the Badminton into Schools Initiative (BISI) Programme
  • Key Stage 3 & 4 Teacher Packs at reduced prices
  • 2 Junior Award Schemes
  • Discounted additional Badminton equipment /DVD
  • Access to two tier competition structure at all age levels for all pupils
  • Free tickets for the Yonex Welsh International and the Yonex Welsh National Championships on request
  • Opportunity to complete in the Top Schools Event
